The problem is a read/write permission error to the Cimatron install folder. The software must often interact with its system files. The default install point is the C: Program Files folder, and it seems many sites have limited user permission to this area. To fix more permission must be granted. Not to all of Program Files, but at least to the Cimatron sub-folder. You will need to be a PC administrator to make the changes.
Completely shut down any running Cimatron sessions. Then navigate to C: Program Files Cimatron CimatronE12 folder.
Right click on the CimatronE12 folder and choose properties. Go to the 'Security' tab and edit the permissions.
If possible give all the logins here 'Full Control' permission, or at least to users and Creator/owner.
