Autodesk Maya Alpha Is Luminance

Hey everyone, currently I have the following problem: I created a forest with Mental Ray Proxys of Trees. And the trees have alpha map leaves. For the render with Mental Ray I have turn on Alpha as Luminance, so Mental Ray can recognize the alphas. In the Beauty Pass everything is fine but I need to create some other Passes too. Autodesk Maya Alpha Is Luminance

Hi guys, just bought the plug and I am staring down the shaders' channels. I can't seem to find how to apply a simple, 100% luminant animated texture (PNG sequence) that uses the images' alpha channel. Usually i just put my image in luminance and then put that same one in the alpha channel using the. Each of the three channels represents the amount of red, green, or blue in the image. Maya image files also contain an alpha channel (or mask channel) which represents the presence and opaqueness of objects, and a luminance channel which represents the intensity or brightness of the image. Alpha is Luminance. Layers can be blended with those below them using the Texture Blend attribute in the Layered Texture ’s Attribute.

Now Mental Ray does not recognize the Alpha in these Passes and you can see the planes. I have tried to render with Maya Software but because I am using Mental Ray Proxys it doesnt render the forest of course. Does anyone know how to fix it? I would really appreciate your help!:)) Much Love, Lapina.

Silhouette Keygen. Maya image files also contain an alpha channel (or mask channel) which represents the presence and opaqueness of objects, and a luminance channel which represents the intensity or brightness of the image. You can display each of these channels individually as planes using the options on the Display menu. If you are in the scene painting view, the values that display are for the snapshot of the view, not just the rendered strokes.
